Himachal Tourism and BigFoot Adventure India are organising the “Kangra Ultra Race” on February 15-16. The race features 100 km, 75 km, 50 km, 25 km, and 10 km categories, passing through historic monuments in Kangra district. The event aims to promote tourism, improve employment and business, and provide opportunities for local sportspersons. Over 100 ultra runners participated in the 2024 edition. Interested participants can contact the tourism office in Dharamsala or call 9717922257. The event will highlight the district’s rich but unexplored heritage.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
