The ongoing 100-Day tuberculosis (TB) campaign in Kangra district has been extended to ensure no one is left behind in the battle against this deadly disease. Chief Medical Officer Dr Rajesh Guleri said over 2.6 lakh individuals have been screened and more than 73,000 chest X-rays conducted across the district so far.

In the campaign’s next phase, the focus will shift towards strengthening Janbhagidari (community participation) with active involvement from local leaders, schools, NGOs and frontline workers. Special attention is being paid to high-risk groups.
