Kasauli police register gangrape case against Haryana BJP chief, singer
The Kasauli police have booked Haryana BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli and singer Rocky Mittal, alias Jai Bhagwan, on the charges of gangrape and criminal intimidation on a complaint filed by a woman on December 13, 2024.

According to the FIR, accessed by The Tribune, the case pertains to July 3, 2023, when the victim, who is from Haryana, had come to Himachal Pradesh along with her friend and employer.
After they checked out of a hotel at Kasauli on July 3, 2023, they met Badoli and Rocky who struck a conversation with them, said the FIR. Badoli introduced himself as a politician, Rocky told them he was a singer, it said.
Later, the duo asked the victim and her friend to accompany them to their room where Rocky offered the victim a role in his music album and Badoli promised her a government job, the FIR added.
The accused forced the victim to consume liquor and raped her, the complainant alleged in the FIR. They also videographed her in a compromising state besides clicking her obscene pictures, she claimed.
They also threatened to kill her if she disclosed the incident to anyone, the victim claimed.
She alleged that two months ago they were called to Panchkula where an attempt was made to book them under a false case.
Solan SP Gaurav Singh said an FIR had been registered against Badoli and Rocky on December 13 for gang-rape and criminal intimidation on a complaint made by a woman. The statement of the victim had been recorded and the case was being investigated.
