Addressing the gathering, the minister emphasised that government programmes are designed for the welfare of the people and should not be viewed through a political lens. “Elected representatives serve everyone and developmental work must always rise above politics,” he said.

Highlighting the progress of infrastructure projects, the minister said 28 roads have been approved under the Forest Rights Act (FRA) in the Kasumpti constituency, with construction already underway on 15 of them. “The Public Works Department has been allocated approximately Rs 4.5 crore and around 60 km of new roads will be constructed soon. Additionally, proposals for 14 more roads have been submitted for FRA approval,” he added.

Anirudh Singh said model Panchayat Bhawans are being built across the state with standardised designs and specifications to ensure uniformity. “In the Kasumpti constituency alone, new Panchayat Bhawans worth Rs 17 crore are under construction,” he said.
