Targeting Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, senior Congress leader Kaul Singh Thakur alleged that the three-year regime of the BJP in the state had proved to be an utter failure due to poor governance.
He alleged that during the BJP regime in the state, the development works had come to a standstill. It has disappointed the people who were hopeful that newly elected Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will develop the state, he said.
Kaul Singh said, “Jai Ram has become Chief Minister of only his own Assembly segment Seraj in Mandi district, where he is ensuring development. He has ignored development in the other nine Assembly segments of the district.”
“Due to poor governance, Covid cases are on the rise in the state, while in other states, such cases are declining,” he added.
He also targeted IPH Minister Mahender Singh Thakur alleging that water pipes were purchased at higher rates, which was a matter of concern.
When contacted, the IPH Minister said, “Kaul Singh should disclose the source from where he took the figures of higher rates of the purchase. The allegations are baseless.”
