Kaushalya Devi of Bounderi ward and Duni Chand of Thaneikothi ward were unanimously elected chairperson and vice-chairperson of Tissa panchayat samiti in Chamba district today. The elections were conducted at Tissa under the chairmanship of Churah SDM Manish Chaudhary.

After the unanimous election, HP Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Dr Hans Raj congratulated the chairperson and the vice-chairperson as well as the newly formed panchayat samiti. He expressed hope that the samiti would work for the development of the Tissa region.
