Nurpur: Khair logs seized, driver held

NURPUR, FEBRUARY 12

A team of Gangath police chowki under Nurpur police station today seized truckload of khair wood logs during a police naka set up at Atahara chowk. The police stopped a truck and found khair logs worth around Rs 2.50 lakh being illegally transported .

A case under section 379 of the IPC and Sections 41-42 of the Indian Forest Act had been registered.
