Addressing the media, Khali revealed his intention to establish a wrestling academy in Kangra, provided the state government extends its support. He underlined the importance of sports, especially wrestling, in steering the youth away from drugs and towards healthier lifestyles.
Khali, who already runs a successful academy in Jalandhar, Punjab, said he now wishes to contribute to his home state. “It’s time to give back to the soil I come from,” he said, adding that wrestling can channel youth energy towards discipline, fitness and national pride.
