Khudijal’s followers carried the deity in a palanquin, navigating snowy paths with unwavering devotion. Videos of the journey have gone viral, highlighting the deep faith of devotees.

The fair will feature cultural programmes organised by the festival committee, enhancing the festive spirit. The participation of Khudijal and other deities showcases the region’s rich cultural heritage. With hundreds of deities converging, the event remains a significant tradition, drawing devotees and visitors alike.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
