Kin of house fire victim suspect foul play
Mandi, June 18
Parents of Kavita (28), who was charred to death along with her two children at her house in Chhota Samahal village under Sarkaghat Assembly segment in Mandi on Wednesday, suspect foul play behind the incident.
In a complaint to the police, deceased’s father Mohan Lal said his daughter had made a distress call to her husband seeking help when the fire broke out in the house. He suspected that someone had put the house on fire deliberately to eliminate his daughter and her two children.
He urged the police to investigate the matter. Sarkaghat DSP Chanderpal Sharma said they were looking into all aspects of the case. — TNS
