Kinnaur Kailash Yatra to begin on August 1

The Kalpa Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Dr Major Shashank Gupta, has said the Kinnaur Kailash Yatra would be held from August 1–26. He said the registration for the yatra would begin at 11 am on July 25.

He said the public may contact the District Tourism Department for offline registration, and they may visit the website to register online (https://hpkinnaur.nic.in).

He added that offline registrations could also be done on the same day at Tangling village.

He said the department would accept up to 200 online and 150 offline registrations per day, and an individual would not be allowed to register more than once. He said a medical fitness certificate was mandatory, and the form for it would be available on the website on July 25. He added that the medical fitness certificate would be valid for one week from the date of issuance.
