Traffic movement on the Kiratpur-Manali highway between Mandi and Kullu was temporarily suspended earlier today due to damage to a flyover girder near Dwada in Mandi district. Meanwhile, the alternate Kataula-Kamand route remained open for light motor vehicles (LMVs) according to the previously announced schedule. The Mandi police were present on-site to manage traffic and ensure public safety. In an official update, the police confirmed that the repair work was completed successfully, and normal traffic flow on the national highway was restored around 7.30 pm.

Travellers are now permitted to resume their journeys along the highway. However, authorities continue to urge drivers to exercise caution while passing through the repaired section. Further monitoring will be carried out to ensure road safety and structural stability. Commuters are encouraged to stay updated through official channels for any future advisories.
