The Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan will be launched in the state from tomorrow and it will continue till June 12. The programme aims to provide farmers with knowledge of modern technologies, inputs and government schemes.

Kumud Singh, Director, Department of Agriculture, said the objectives of the programme included encouraging the use of modern technologies and inputs in agriculture, increasing crop production and improving farmers’ income, promoting soil health management and conservation and promoting digital agriculture and use of technology in farming.

The programme will be implemented in all districts of the state, with a team of experts and officials from various departments, including agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry reaching out to the farmers.
