Kullu: Nigerian in judicial custody dies

Izuchukwu (38), a Nigerian, who was in judicial custody at Bhuntar police station in the district in an NDPS Act case, died of brain haemorrhage yesterday.

Kullu SSP Gurdev Sharma said he was in judicial custody till July 29. He added the accused fell unconscious yesterday morning and was admitted to the Regional Hospital, Kullu. He was referred to the IGMC, Shimla, but his condition deteriorated near Ner Chowk. The police team took him to Ner Chowk Medical College where doctors declared him brought dead.
