KULLU, JUNE 28
The adventure seekers will now have to pay Rs 3,500 instead of Rs 3,200 to enjoy tandem paragliding in Kullu.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Aero Sports and River Rafting Regulatory Committee here today which was presided over by DC Ashutosh Garg.
The rate of Rs 3,200 was fixed in 2016 and now only an increase of Rs 300 was recommended.
Similarly, river rafting rates were also increased with the consent of officials of the River Rafting and Paragliding Association present.
The DC said no compromise could be made on the safety of tourists and sports activities should be done according to the rules.
He said on the lines of the Solang valley, the registration should be done at one place and from there the raft allotment would also be done. All operators would get a chance in turn.
