Lahaul-Spiti MLA lauds depts for swift response to disaster

Lahaul and Spiti MLA and Special Area Development Authority (SADA) Chairperson Anuradha Rana has lauded combined and swift response of all departments in restoring services after a natural disaster struck the region recently.

Chairing a meeting of the SADA yesterday at Keylong, Anuradha Rana commended the coordinated efforts of all departments, especially in supporting local residents, tourists, truck drivers and nomadic herders (Gaddis). She highlighted that the prompt restoration of electricity, water supply, roads, mobile networks and fuel availability was a result of exemplary teamwork.

The MLA praised D Kiran Bhadana for her efficient administrative leadership. She sought updates from various departments on the implementation status of various initiatives. Rana directed the officials concerned to expedite the process of installing CCTV cameras at Zero Point near Keylong hospital to enhance security.
