Landslide blocks Chamba-Tissa road

A massive landslide near Pukhri blocked the Chamba-Tissa road on Thursday afternoon, halting traffic on both sides. The incident occurred around 2 pm. Fortunately, no vehicles or pedestrians were present at the time, as early signs of the landslide had prompted people to stay at a safe distance. Eyewitnesses said that the landslide caused the entire hillside to collapse onto the road, cutting off pedestrian access as well. Many people had to take long detours to reach the other side. Meanwhile, several vehicles rerouted via Rajnagar and Chaklu to continue their journey.
