The lecture was delivered by Prof (Dr) Shiv Nath Ghosh (retd), a renowned psychologist from the Department of Psychology, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Dr Ghosh underscored the critical need for awareness, empathy and early intervention in addressing mental health challenges, especially in high-stress academic and professional environments.

Adding depth to the discussion, the event featured a documentary screening that vividly portrayed real-life experiences related to mental health. The film resonated strongly with the audience, sparking reflection and discussion among students and faculty alike.
