Lawrence School tops national, state rankings

The Lawrence School, Sanawar, was ranked as the best in India and the state in the ‘Vintage Legacy Co-ed Boarding Schools’ category by EducationWorld in the India-Schools Ranking (EWISR) for the year 2025-26.

The award was presented to the school on October 14 during an award ceremony at Gurugram, in which Vipin Sondhi, chair of the SMC and a member of the board of governors, along with the Headmaster Himmat Singh Dhillon, received the award.

Expressing immense pride and gratitude on achieving the feat, Sondhi said, “This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our visionary Headmaster, exceptional faculty and the unwavering commitment of our students to achieve academic excellence.”

Dhillon said, “Team Sanawar is most blessed to receive this fine accolade for the second time in two years! Moreover, it is most note-worthy that the award has been conferred on the birthday of second Lieutenant Khetrapal, PVC, our illustrious alumnus. ”
