Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur questions government over outsourcing of jobs
Alleges that the Congress government has been running the ‘Mitr’ scheme since it came to power, under which youths are paid nominal honorarium
Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur has alleged that the government is planning to outsource Bijli Mitras, calling it a betrayal of the youth. Thakur alleged that the Congress government has been running the ‘Mitr’ scheme since it came to power, under which youths are paid nominal honorarium.
Thakur further asked why the government was not giving regular jobs to youth, especially when it had come to power promising five lakh jobs in five years. Questioning the intention of the government behind outsourcing jobs, Thakur alleged that a gang was extorting money from youth in the name of outsourced jobs. Thakur further said that even the High Court had periodically questioned the practices and history of outsourcing agents. “The government should stop the ‘Mitr’ schemes and provide permanent jobs to the youth,” he said.
