THE sewerage in ward number 12 of the Dharamsala Municipal Corporation has been leaking. Despite numerous complaints to the IPH Department, nobody has come to rectifying the fault. Foul smell fills the area due to the leakage in the system. Crores have been spent to make Dharamsala a smart city. However, if issues concerning the sewerage and water supply are not fixed, there is no point in calling Dharamsala a smart city. — Davinder Kumar, Dharamsala

Potholes on highway irk commuters

BETWEEN Chakki Mor and Timber Trail, the highway has been dug up and made into a single lane by breaking the divider. As a result, deep potholes have developed on the road. The staff of a private company can be seen sitting there, but they are not bothered to repair the damaged portion. The road has been in this condition for many months, posing a danger to the commuters.
