Legal awareness camp organised in Rampur
The Himachal Legal Services Authority organised a legal awareness camp in Bhadawali Gram Panchayat of Rampur. Senior Civil Judge and ACJM, District Legal Services Authority (Kinnaur), Jitendra Saini presided over the event as the chief guest. He apprised the participants of free legal aid scheme, legal rights and duties.
He said the objective of the Legal Services Authority was to create legal literacy and awareness among people, provide free legal aid to the needy, ensure quick justice and encourage decisions through reconciliation and agreement in legal proceedings.
He told the participants that they could seek legal help by dialling — the toll free number 15100 — of the National Legal Services Authority. In this camp, Advocate Sandeep gave detailed information about child care and protection law.
