Cold wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in the state tomorrow. While the minimum temperatures over most parts of the state are normal or near normal in high /mid hill areas, these dipped below normal by two-five degrees Celsius over many parts of plains / low hills of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Mandi, Kangra, Chamba, Solan, and Sirmaur.

Meanwhile, the maximum temperatures have fallen by two-three degree Celsius in some parts of the high hills. The lowest minimum temperature today was recorded at Tabo at -9.9 degree Celsius.

Light precipitation is likely at isolated places in the districts of Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur and over the higher reaches of Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi and Shimla from February 16-18 and light rain is likely at isolated places over low hills/plain areas and at some places in Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi and Shimla on February 19.
