Light snowfall in upper Shimla
Moderate snow and rainfall has been recorded over the last 24 hours in the state. While several places in the district of Lahaul and Spiti and Kinnaur has received light to moderate snowfall, significant rainfall has been recorded in the districts of Kullu, Shimla and Mandi.
While Shimla city recorded 5 mm rainfall, places like Narkanda, Chopal and Dodra Kwar received snowfall of one to three inches. From tomorrow onwards, the weather is likely to clear up and remain dry till March 9.
Due to the heavy precipitation on the last two days of the last month, many roads, mainly in tribal districts are closed for traffic.
