Long traffic jam on Tara Devi-Shoghi stretch
More than 2 km-long traffic jams were witnessed between Tara Devi and Shoghi as vehicles were parked along the both sides of the National Highway 5. These vehicles had come to get passing certificate of their vehicles from the Transport Department. The commuters travelling on the highway were a harried lot as they were stuck in the jam for hours. The concerned authorities should take note of the issue and ensure appropriate parking spaces for such vehicles. — Ankur, Shimla
