Lt Gen Shukla assumes charge of ARTRAC

Shimla, May 1

Lt Gen Raj Shukla today assumed the command of the Army Training Command (ARTRAC). A graduate of the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, and the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, General Shukla was commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery in December 1982.

The General Officer has a career spanning over four decades in the field. He commanded a Medium Regiment in the Eastern / Desert Theatres, an Infantry Brigade in counter insurgency operations, an Infantry Division along the LoC in Kashmir and a Corps along the Western Borders. — TNS
