Major rejig, Himachal transfers 20 IAS officers

In a major administrative shake up, the Himachal Government today transferred 20 IAS officers, including an Additional Chief Secretary and three Principal Secretaries.

Nisha Singh, Adviser (Health) to the state government in New Delhi, who also holds the charge of Additional Chief Secretary (Forests, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Administrative Reforms), has been relieved of the charge of the Forest Department, which has been given to Rajneesh, Adviser (Industries and Urban Affairs) to the state government in New Delhi.

Bharat Khera, Adviser (Regulatory Reforms), to the state government in New Delhi, and Principal Secretary (Home and Vigilance, Parliamentary Affairs), has also been given the additional charge of PWD.

Subhasish Panda, Adviser (Infrastructure and Tourism) to the state government in New Delhi, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Principal Secretary (PWD, Excise and Taxation), has been the additional charge of Health and Family Welfare.

Amitabh Avasthi, Secretary Horticulture and Health and Family Welfare, has been posted as Secretary (Horticulture and Technical Education) while Capt JM Pathania (retd), MD, HP Agro Industries Corporation, and MD, HP Agro Industrial Packaging India Ltd, has been shifted as Director (Personnel and Finance), HP State Electricity Board.

Vinod Kumar, MD, HP Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation, Kangra, has been posted as MD, Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd, at Dharamsala while Sudesh Kumar Mokhta, Director, Environment, Science and Technology, has been given the additional charge of MD, Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation Ltd, Shimla, and Project Director, HP Horticulture Development Society, Shimla.

Lalit Jain, Managing Director, HP State Civil Supplies Corporation, Shimla, will hold the charge of Director, Environment, Science and Technology. He shall also hold the additional charge of Member Secretary, HP State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, Shimla.

Harikesh Meena, Director Energy, Shimla, shall also hold the additional charge of MD, HP Power Corporation Ltd., relieving Devesh Kumar of the charge.

Rajeshwar Goel, MD, Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation Limited, and Project Director, HP Horticulture Development Society, has been posted as MD, HP State Civil Supplies Corporation.

Manmohan Sharma, Director, Urban Development, and CEO-cum-MD, Shimla Smart City, has been posted as CEO-cum-MD, Shimla Smart City, with additional charge of MD, Shimla Jal Prabandhan Nigam Ltd.

Meanwhile, eight HAS officers were also shifted and four were given additional charge.
