The Mandi district administration has launched a significant initiative to support orphaned students under the Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Scheme. A panel of prestigious coaching institutes will be created to provide free, high-quality education and guidance to these students.

The selected institutes will offer coaching for various competitive exams, including UPSC, HPSC, JEE, NEET and CUET. Beyond academics, they will provide crucial counselling and emotional support, recognising the unique challenges faced by orphaned students.

To qualify, coaching institutes must have a proven track record with at least three years of operation in Himachal Pradesh and a minimum success rate of 40% in competitive exams or academic results over the past three years. They must also possess adequate infrastructure, experienced faculty, and a commitment to student welfare.

Interested institutes can submit their applications by January 30 to the District Programme Office, Mandi. A rigourous evaluation process, including on-site inspections, will determine the final selection. This initiative aims to empower orphaned students with the necessary tools and support to achieve their academic and professional aspirations, ensuring a brighter future for this vulnerable group.
