Kindergarten students of DAV Centenary Public School, Mandi, celebrated the Baisakhi festival with great enthusiasm on Friday in Mandi district. The celebration began with a lively bhangra performance, followed by prayers, dances, slogans, and poems that added colour and spirit to the occasion.

Principal KS Guleria congratulated the staff and students on this auspicious day. He remarked that such celebrations promote unity and harmony among students from diverse backgrounds. Through the event, children also learned about the significance of Baisakhi as both a harvest festival and “Khalsa Saajna Diwas”.

The young participants included Ananya, Sahithya Arora, Prakulveer, Inaya Jaiswal, Mokshit, Tejasveer, Keerat, Jaspreet, Rehanveer, Sehaj Kaur, Jasdev, Advika, and Shivya — all of whom gave vibrant performances that delighted the audience.

Supervisory Head Seema Kapoor praised the children for their outstanding efforts and expressive performances, making the event a joyful and memorable celebration.
