The prestigious event saw participation from elite athletes and teams representing top police and paramilitary forces, including Assam Rifles and Kerala Police. Jamwal delivered a stellar performance, notably defeating a formidable opponent from the Kerala Police in an intense bout.

However, his campaign took a tough turn when he suffered injuries to his nose and leg, forcing the medical team to declare him unfit for the semifinal. This resulted in him conceding the match by walkover. Despite this setback, Jamwal expressed pride in his achievement and credited his coach, Dr Sanjay Yadav, for his guidance and training.
