Jyotiraditya Jamwal, a 17-year-old from Mandi district, has made his hometown proud by cracking the prestigious JEE Advanced examination and earning a seat in the highly coveted Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme at IIT Jammu — one of India’s premier engineering institutes.

Earlier this year, Jyotiraditya demonstrated his academic brilliance by securing an impressive 99.4 percentile in JEE Mains, a competitive national-level exam taken by over 15 lakh candidates. Building on that success, he excelled in JEE Advanced, which saw participation from more than 2.5 lakh top-ranking students across the country.

The son of Jitendra and Yashu Jamwal, Jyotiraditya’s achievement is a moment of immense pride for his family. “He has always been a curious and sharp-minded student. His hard work and dedication have truly paid off and we are extremely proud of him,” his parents shared with joy.
