In a bid to highlight the unique legacy of International Shivaratri Fair, the Mandi Shivaratri Fair Committee will publish a coffee table book for the 2025 event. This book will showcase the fair’s cultural significance and historical heritage.

A special committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Mandi Sub-Divisional Magistrate to finalise content and design of the book. The Mandi Additional Deputy Commissioner would oversee the committee’s work.

Apoorv Devgan, Deputy Commissioner-cum-chairman of the Mandi Shivaratri Fair Committee, said the primary objective of this coffee table book would be to capture and present the invaluable heritage. He said the success of this project would depend on public participation. The citizens had been urged to contribute old photographs, documents and any historical information related to Shivaratri festival to be included in the book, he added.
