Apoorv Devgan, Deputy Commissioner-cum-chairman of the Mandi Shivaratri Fair Committee, said the primary objective of this coffee table book would be to capture and present the invaluable heritage. He said the success of this project would depend on public participation. The citizens had been urged to contribute old photographs, documents and any historical information related to Shivaratri festival to be included in the book, he added.

The DC said MLA Chander Shekhar had recently proposed that the 2025 Shivaratri Festival should be special, thus the committee has moved forward with the coffee table book.
