March for Covid prevention

Shimla, January 6

The Himachal Pradesh Secretariat Services Sports Control Board organised a foot march to spread awareness on the prevention of the pandemic on the occasion of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur’s birthday here today. The march was flagged off by Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj.

The march started from the Secretariat complex via Mall Road, The Ridge. The participants gave a message about the prevention of Covid through various slogans.

Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj congratulated the Chief Minister on his birthday and said it was a matter of pride that the state was under his able leadership, who, being from the rural background, was well aware of the problems of the common man.

He said the state government had taken various effective steps to tackle the pandemic and save people from its effects.

Himachal Pradesh Secretariat Services Sports Control Board general secretary Rajesh Sharma and other office-bearers were also present on the occasion.
