During the session, Dr Pradeep Nair, Professor of New Media at CUHP, Dharamsala, shared his ground-level experiences of working on community-driven TB initiatives. He emphasised the challenges faced in remote areas and stressed the importance of awareness, early diagnosis, and prevention to curb the spread of TB.

Kangra CMO Dr Rajesh Guleri set an example by becoming a Nikshay Mitra, adopting 20 TB patients from Thural and Dharamsala under the Nikshay Mitra Yojana, which provides nutritional support to TB patients.
