Dubbed the “Maha-Kumbh of Maths,” the debate saw participation from over 50,000 students across 5,000 schools representing seven nations. The competition spanned eight months, beginning at the school level in August 2024 and culminating in the international finals. The contest featured two categories—Alpha and Beta groups—with 10 schools from different countries qualifying for the final round.

At the regional level in India, three teams from Sanawar were shortlisted for the national round—two in the Alpha category and one in the Beta category. From these, one Alpha team progressed to the international round and clinched the third position globally.
