Maximum temperatures higher than normal at most places in Himachal

Rain, snow likely at isolated places in higher reaches from February 16 onwards

The maximum temperatures at most places in the state are three to six degrees Celsius above normal. Una recorded the highest maximum temperature in the last 24 hours at 28.6 degrees Celsius, with a deviation of 6.3 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperatures at most places are normal or close to normal. Tabo recorded the lowest minimum temperature today at minus 9.9 degrees Celsius.

Hill stations like Shimla, Dharamsala and Manali also have higher-than-normal maximum temperatures.

At isolated places, cold wave conditions are likely to prevail on Thursday and Friday.

As per the weather department, the weather is likely to be largely dry over the next few days. There is a possibility of some rain or snow at isolated places in the higher reaches from February 16 onwards.
