Shimla, August 27
Cutting across political lines, the Vidhan Sabha today offered condolences on the demise of three former legislators of the Assembly, who passed away since the last budget session was held in March.
CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu led the House in offering condolences to the three departed souls, Tek Chand Dogra (Nachan in Mandi), Narain Singh Swamy (Ghumarwin in Bilaspur) and Daulat Ram Chaudhary (Kangra), who passed away in the recent past. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Pathania also offered condolences to the bereaved families. He also expressed grief at the demise of those who lost their lives due to monsoons and floods.
Those, who paid tributes to the former members of the House, included Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, Town and Country Planning Minister Rajesh Dharmani, Vinod Kumar, Randhir Sharma, Chander Shekhar and Rakesh Jamwal.
