A comprehensive campaign will be implemented across the state from September 1 to 30, focusing on the holistic development of women and children.

As per a spokesperson, the government has undertaken numerous initiatives to enhance health and nutrition standards to address issues like malnutrition, anaemia, and low birth weight in children under six, as well as adolescent girls, pregnant women and lactating mothers.

During the campaign, awareness camps will be conducted in collaboration with the Health and Ayush departments. A tree plantation drive, ‘One Tree in the Name of Mother’, will be launched in partnership with the Forest and Panchayati Raj Departments to promote environment conservation.
