Himachal Minister Rajesh Dharmani inspects site for centre of excellence

Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani here today inspected the construction site for the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Tourism and Hospitality at Waknaghat in Solan.
During the visit, the minister engaged with on-site officials and the construction contractor and gathered information regarding the progress of the construction work.
A thorough review of existing shortcomings was conducted, leading to specific instructions for the officials concerned and contractors to expedite the overall process.
The CoE aims to provide substantial benefits to candidates upon successful completion of their courses, offering a job guarantee. It is designed to deliver mandatory residential training programmes across various streams, including Hotel Operations and Management, Food and Beverage Operations and Management, Food Production, Fitness and Wellness, and Food Technology.
Candidates enrolled in the programme will receive American Certification by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute. The participants will be eligible for a stipend and government scholarships.
