Minor boy found hanging from tree in Solan village
Body of a minor boy (15) was found hanging from a tree at Rundhan Ghodo village last evening.
The boy had refused to go to school yesterday and had fled from home without informing anyone. While searching for him his family found his body hanging from a tree at Rundon Ghoro village near Dharampur last evening. He was a class X student of a local Government Senior Secondary and his final exams began in the school today.
On receiving this information, a team of Dagshai police reached the spot where a person was found hanging from a branch of a tree with a noose of plastic rope. On verification, the said person was identified as Subhash (15), a resident of Jharkhand who was staying at Bara village with his family in a rented accommodation.
“The body was thoroughly inspected. Apart from the rope mark on the neck of the deceased, no injury or scratch marks were found on other parts of the body. The deceased was taken to MMU medical college Sultanpur for post-mortem examination and no foul play is suspected,” informed SP Solan, Gaurav Singh.
Earlier too, the deceased had fled from home on two or three occasions.
His post-mortem was conducted today and his viscera was preserved and would be sent to the State Forensic Science Laboratory, Junga for chemical testing. The body of the deceased was handed over to his family for final cremation and the police was pursuing inquest proceedings.
