A biker had a narrow escape when he was caught between two HRTC buses at Badalthoor market.

One bus was coming from Dadaseba and heading towards Dhaliara, while another bus was on its way to Dadaseba from Dehra. The biker, a migrant, tried to manoeuvre his way out between the two buses, but got trapped in between the buses.

His two-wheeler was badly damaged, however, the driver of the bus applied breaks at the right time. The biker has received minor injuries but is safe.

One person was killed, six injured and one biker had a narrow escape In the last 48 hours here, the police said here today. The police said on Monday evening, one person, who was riding a scooty, got injured when an HRTC bus coming from the opposite direction hit his vehicle outside the gate of Polytechnic college in Kangra. He was rushed to the DRPGMC, Tanda.

In another incident, the police said one person was killed on the spot and another was injured when the motorcycle on which they were riding on dashed against a parked truck on the Pathankot-Mandi National Highway in Rait. The deceased has been identified as Jatinder Kumar, 45, a resident of Salol.

Another mishap took place in Rait where two persons were injured when an Alto car and a Fortuner collided with each other.
