Shimla, February 10

State BJP president Rajeev Bindal today lashed out at the Congress for alleged mismanagement during the UPA government at the Centre.

Bindal, in a statement issued here today, attacked the Congress as Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman brought a White Paper in Parliament. “In 2004, the country’s progress was going well and the economic condition was also good but due to mismanagement under the Manmohan Singh government, the economic condition declined,” he added.

He said that the White Paper was a sample of the work done by the UPA government from 2004 to 2014. He added that inflation kept rising while productivity declined. “The 10-year-rule of the UPA government was marred by a number of scandals while under the BJP rule, the country has progressed and India has become a super power under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he claimed.
