Mother, son mowed down by jeep in Kullu
Mandi, July 12
A woman and her son were runover by a speeding vehicle and were killed at Sarvari in Kullu district on Monday evening while her four-year-old granddaughter sustained grave injuries when a speeding vehicle crushed them.
According to the police, victim Sarla Devi, her son Suny (25) and her granddaughter were standing on the roadside when they were mowed down by a jeep.
Kullu SP Gurdev Chand Sharma said Sarla Devi and Suny were taken to hospital where they succumbed to injuries, while, the granddaughter was recuperating in the hospital at Kullu. The driver of vehicle Jayoti Prakash has been arrested.
