MP visits disaster-hit Chabutra village

Rajya Sabha MP Dr Sikander Kumar visited disaster-affected Chabutra village in the Sujanpur Assembly constituency to review the situation and extend support to the distressed families. He was accompanied by Gurmeet Singh, state president of BJP Minority Morcha, Dr Sunny Shukla, state president of BJP Yuva Morcha, Rakesh Thakur, BJP district president, Jaswant Thakur, mandal president of Sujanpur, and Suresh Thakur, mandal general secretary.

During his visit, Dr Sikander Kumar interacted with affected families, assuring them of all possible assistance and moral support in this difficult period. He personally distributed relief materials including solar lights, food supply kits, tarpaulins and ration packs containing daily essentials. He further assured villagers that he would coordinate with the local administration to ensure timely help and rehabilitation measures.

Meanwhile, Sansad Aspatal, an initiative of former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, has also started extending medical services to the affected residents. A mobile health van equipped with a doctor, medicines and supporting staff has been deployed to provide round-the-clock healthcare in Chabutra. Vikram Banyal, district media coordinator of BJP, said BJP workers were actively engaged in relief operations in the village.
