Nadda ‘skilled charioteer’ for PM Modi in every election: BJP spokesman
Says Bihar mandate will shape the state’s political environment
Himachal Pradesh BJP spokesperson Sanjay Sharma has said that BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda has consistently acted as a ‘skilled charioteer’ for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in every major election, guiding the party to decisive victories.
Sharma said that Nadda’s strong organisational abilities firmly rooted from booth-level committees to the party’s top leadership created an impenetrable election framework, leading to the BJP’s emphatic victory in Bihar. This, he added, left the Opposition with “no chance to counter the BJP’s strategy on the ground”.
He said that the election outcome in Bihar proved most political predictions wrong. The combined impact of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s poll strategy, Nadda’s organisational command and the Prime Minister’s widespread popularity reshaped Bihar’s political landscape, turning the elections into a one-sided contest.
Sharma said that despite claims that the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government would face strong anti-incumbency, the BJP leadership not only neutralised such narratives but also transformed the election into a pro-incumbency wave in favour of the alliance.
The NDA securing 202 seats, he added, marked the rejection of the Opposition’s ‘family-driven politics’.
He said that the Bihar mandate would not only shape the state’s political environment but also set a new direction for national politics for the upcoming elections.
Sharma also highlighted Nadda’s long journey from student politics to national leadership, describing him as a respected and proven election strategist who formed a crucial part of the Modi-Shah leadership axis.
