Nadda’s charges against Cong govt baseless: Anirudh
Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh has slammed Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda for making “baseless allegations” against the state government and the Congress during his visit to the state.
Anirudh criticised Nadda for ignoring the state’s interests for years and now suddenly showing concern and making unnecessary statements about the state’s financial crisis.
He said that when the Congress came to power, the state was already struggling with a massive debt of Rs 75,000 crore and additional liabilities of Rs 10,000 crore. “Despite this, BJP leaders are now questioning the state’s financial management,” he added.
The minister accused the BJP leaders of spreading lies about the “mismanagement” of Central funds and ignoring the Centre’s role in blocking grants to the state.
Anirudh highlighted the Congress government’s achievements, including the implementation of the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for milk and clearing of the dues of apple growers. He also criticised Nadda for failing to secure financial support for the state and ignoring the rights of his own people.
