Nagrota Bagwan gets Rs 36 crore projects

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of eight development projects worth Rs 36 crore in the Nagrota Bagwan Assembly constituency of Kangra district today, officials said.

The Chief Minister inaugurated a Rs 3.10 crore fire post building at Nagrota Bagwan, a road from Malan to Gujrehra Pathiar and Sakrehar to be constructed at a cost of Rs 4.80 crore and a project for the metalling and tarring of the Kharat-Jandrah-Aerla-Ropa-Kardiana road at a cost of Rs 4.84 crore.

He also inaugurated a bridge constructed over Dharoon Khad to connect Kaled to Kari Da Bag village constructed at a cost of Rs 3.47 crore.

Sukhu laid the foundation stone of a Rs 9.56 crore road from Rangehar Sadoon Malmu to Nera, including a bridge over Nera Khad, and electrical infrastructure development works to be completed at a cost of Rs 10 crore in Nagrota Bagwan.

Earlier, the Chief Minister was accorded a warm welcome by locals upon his arrival at Nagrota Bagwan, the officials said.
