The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) will celebrate Seva Pakhwada in Himachal Pradesh from September 17 to October 2 to mark the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
State BJYM president Sunny Shukla announced that the highlight of the fortnight would be the ‘Namo Yuva Run’, aimed at connecting the youth and spreading a message of fitness and de-addiction. Renowned Bollywood singer Mohit Chauhan will serve as the brand ambassador.
The run will be held simultaneously on September 21 in Shimla, Mandi and Hamirpur. In Shimla, it will begin from the historic Ridge and conclude at Chaura Maidan. Shukla said the initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of a Developed India by 2047, while inspiring the youth towards self-reliance, discipline and a healthy lifestyle.
BJYM will also organise blood donation camps across all 17 organisational districts of the state. BJP state president Rajeev Bindal and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur are expected to participate in Shimla’s event, alongside a large turnout of students, youth and women.
Shukla added that ‘Namo Yuva Run’ will be held at 75 locations nationwide.
