Navrang: A colourful blend of zeal & talent

DAV Public School, Nagrota Surian, in the neighbouring Jawali subdivision celebrated its annual day — theme ‘Navrang’ — recently. The school campus was beautifully decorated with colourful canopy and flowers, setting the tone for vibrant celebration. The event started with lighting of the lamp by chief guest Dr Bikram Singh, Principal of DAV public school, Alampur. Principals of various DAV schools were also present on the occasion.

School Principal Shekhar Moudgil delivered the welcome address and highlighted the school’s achievements, besides exhorting the students to dream big and embrace their true potential. The students showcased their talents through various cultural programmes, including captivating dance performances, thought-provoking skits and melodious music. The audience was mesmerised by the performances and the students received thunderous applause.

The highlight of the event was the prize distribution ceremony, where students were awarded prizes for their outstanding performances in academics, sports and extracurricular activities. Dr Bikram Singh addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to strive for excellence.

The programme concluded with the national anthem, marking the end of a memorable annual day celebration.
